I will here collect all the relevant pages I’ve come across. I try to use del.icio.us, but for some reason I just fail at it. Plus here I can add fuller descriptions. I’ll try to strip away any link rot.
Literature and Science
- Society for Literature, Science, and the Arts. http://litsci.org
- The British Society for Literature and Science. http://www.bsls.ac.uk/
- Ian Roberts, a fellow Missourian and academic at MSWU put this page together on Lit/Sci studies. Of particular usefulness is the reading list and the page titled Lit/Sci Courses which links to a good many course syllabi. http://staff.missouriwestern.edu/users/robertsi/litsci/
- A collection of links to sites with material related to CP Snow’s two cultures. http://academics.vmi.edu/gen_ed/Two_Cultures.html
General Science
- Need to find articles or really anything else of a scientific nature pertaining to any topic? Try Scirus. And I mean any topic. http://www.scirus.com/srsapp/
- ErekAlert! The latest publications on all fronts. You can also search/browse by discipline from the home page. http://www.eurekalert.org/pubnews.php
- Though it hasn’t been updated in over a year, VictorianWeb’s page on Science has some valuable stuff. I particularly like the section on Themes, though the link for “Professionalization” (which I’d be interested in reading) is broken. http://www.victorianweb.org/science/
Individual Authors
- Gibson, William. Neruomancer Study Guide 2 WSU; Rolling Stone Interview; College Crier Interview;
- Pynchon, Thomas Ruggles. The Pynchon Wiki; Pynchon at the Modern Word [useful guides] ;
